Resuming a Podcast Episode

Mmmk. So if I’ve started a podcast, switched to another one (say my 10 min news in the morning), when I go back to Up Next, it has new episodes and I have to manually go back to the Show, scroll down to find the episode I was on and re-select. Is there any other way to do this?! I’ve tried using the Queue but i can never find the actual list and always seems to be out of order.

Individual Podcast Episodes Have Gone Missing Hi All, I updated to the latest Version 1.1.0 (1555.1.1) and it appears that all of the podcasts that I have saved and wasn't subscribed to have gone missing. I'm unsure about how to get them back without having to hunt every last one down again. I assume that it has to do with the database files that are used. Can these be recovered easily? Also, if I download a podcast from a show that I am not subscribed to, I can only locate it on the Download list and it is not in the list of shows. Is there a way to add the show without subscribing, and without going to the Most Recent Station? Over the years, I've had a few problems like this with the Podcast app, but I've been able to solve them, because I've been able to locate the individual episodes. With the new file system, it's so much more difficult. All these problems trickledown to the iPhone app too. This may make me move to another app because of the inconvenience. Am I the only one with this problem? Thank you!

In Podcasts (iOS 14), a played episode won't leave the Up Next queue. Even though it's marked as Played, I can't get one episode from one podcast out of the Up Next list. FWIW, it's marked as a bonus episode from an unknown season, but it's not the only one in this category. Despite being marked as played, it still shows "Resume - 1 hr 27 min left." I did scrub through the episode to get closer to the end, played a little bit, then marked the episode as played. I've done this countless times before. The episode was from July 5th, 2020, so I took action to mark it as played well before the upgrade to iOS 14, so I'm not sure why this particular episode Lazarused itself into Up Next again after the upgrade. Any suggestions are welcome.

Deleting and Editing Episodes on Podcasts Connect Hello! I have published a few podcast episodes through Podcasts Connect, and now I want to delete an episode and edit an episode. It seems so simple, but I cannot figure it out! Thank you for your help!
