Mac Studio displays 'Restart and show password reset options' screen when restarted

Over. the weekend, my Mac Studio M1 Ultra with Sonoma 14.4.1 has started to display the 'Restart and show password reset options' screen (similar to the first screenshot attached below) every time I restart the computer. Strangely, the screen also includes my password 'Hint', which I have switched off in 'System Settings'. I know my password and can easily get past this particular screen. However, I would much rather that the displayed screen just asked me for my password like my MacBook Pro M3 Max and Mac mini M1 does (similar to second screenshot attached below).

I've tried switching to 'Safe Mode' and it does display the correct start screen, but on restart I'm back to the 'Restart and show password reset options' screen.

Any advice on how to resolve this issue is appreciated.
