On 8th gen ipad with OS17.3.1, how do I get notifications back after they disappear or find any history of my notifications?.

I open the ipad, notifications are stacked on screen. I do not open them at that time but try to find them later and I can’t. Where are they? I tried Notifications in Settings but there is no history or list there. Help!

iPad, iPadOS 17

Recent Notifications can be accessed from the Notification Centre. While your iPad is unlocked, swipe downwards from the top-edge of the screen.

NB: Avoid swiping from the mid-point (centre) or extreme corners of the screen - as doing so will trigger different functions.
