Passcode Expired

I got a pop-up saying “your passcode has expired”, twice already. Then I have to change my passcode and it has to be a brand new one. The previously used access code from years ago, for example, will not be approved. Once this appears I have to change it and can't do anything else until I change it. Is it only me? People around me do not have this and can simply use the access code for years. I was able to do it at first, but about a year ago I got a pop-up saying that my access code has expired and again today. I don’t want to change my password soo frequently if possible.
