iPhone playlists missing from Apple Music

I have been syncing music from Apple Music to my iPhone using Apple Devices. I had to reinstall Apple music, and now my playlists only exist on my phone. two questions:

If i sync my iPhone to Apple music now, will it erase the playlists on my phone?
If so, is there a way to move playlists from the phone to Apple Music?
