Mb air m3 overheating
Hi my new mac book air 15” m3 8gb ram is overheating
My 15 inch MBA M2 gets warm with hours of use but never uncomfortably warm. Have you used any apps to check temps? Only time I have read about overheating on MBA's is when reviewers have maxed out them with benchmarks that only prove that doing unreasonable tasks for a MacBook Air can indeed overheat them. But the MacBook Air is more a light duty design which can handle brief periods of heavy tasking. I myself have never noticed temps going beyond 80c in use and only briefly. Mostly it hovers around 50c to 60c which for a passively cooled thin notebook is perfectly fine.
