PDF:PhishingX-gen [Phish] File Found by Avast

So this is a follow up on previous post I did.

I found this file this Saturday on my Mac and tried to clean it by deleting all files formatting it (but not by disk). Today I found the same file again on Avast deep clean: PDF:PhishingX-gen [Phish]. What should I do? I already cleaned it with Avast, Malwarebytes did not even saw it. What should I do? Is this a malware? Am I compromised?

Avast is the problem here. It has to claim that it is working in order to get more money out of you. Start by using the uninstaller provided by the company. It is not an easy piece of software to remove and will always want to leave fragment files on your computer. This is not something legitimate software will do to prevent you from removing it. You are not compromised and the only Malware you have is Avast. In my opinion this is malicious behavor,
