Unresponsive touchscreen on Iphone 12 ProMax

My Iphone 12 ProMax screen stopped working. The Iphone charges, turns on, and rings etc. But it is unresponsive to touch. I just filed an insurance claim and I need to return the phone ASAP. However, I first need to turn off the "Find My IPhone" feature and delete all of my personal data, including my Apple pay etc. If possible I would also like to get my recent photos off of the Iphone, because it has not updated to iCloud in a couple of weeks.

QUESTION: Is it possible to access my completely unresponsive Iphone via my MacBook Pro; and turn off "Find My Iphone", retrieve my photos, and/or hard reset it to remove my personal information?
