Connecting Wacom Cintiq 27QHD to Mac Mini

Hi, I finally upgraded my ancient Imac 2014 to a Mac Mini 2023, and I have been using a Wacon Cintiq 27QHD 2018 on the old Imac with no issues.

I bought a USB B to USBc adaptor and a thunderbolt 2 to 4 adaptor for the new Mac Mini, but now every time I try and turn on the Wacom, it goes straight to Power saving mode?

I have checked all cables, everything is securely plugged in.

I tried turning everything off and on repeatedly ( hey, why not... )

Can anyone give me any advice on what I may have done wrong? I really need to utilise my wacom for work, and don't fancy having to buy another wacom, as this Wacom works fine ( on the old Imac machine, I checked, but the OS is ancient, and it's terribly slow ).

Thanks for any advice, tips, or suggestions!

Just wanted to say Thank you!I went out and bought a new HDMI cord as a last ditch attempt. I tried your idea of doing the HDMI straight into the mac mini from the back of the Wacom ( in the wacom display stand the cords gets integrated, so i pulled them all out ) and it's come back alive!!

Thank you with your really straight forward advice, and patience. Sorry I am such an untechnical person, just an artist!

Have a great weekend!!

The Wacom is a 2018 model with USB B and Thunderbolt 2, which will not work with the new Mac Mini 2023, which was Thunderbolt 4 and USBc, ( as I mentioned in my initial post ).

So I was adviced at the apple shop to get adaptors to connect to the relevant newer versions. TB2>TB4 and USBb>USBc

But when I try and turn ont Wacom, the name comes up, and then it states it is going into Power saving mode.
