Airdrops notification from Alert to Banners on macOS Sonoma.

Hi, I've been searching around and I see lots of people have been requesting this for ages and still not possible the easy way. All of the results were old or didn't have a solution for me.

Is there any other way to change Airdrop notifications (which are not available in the Notifications settings) as banners, instead of alerts, so every time I airdrop something to myself I won't have to dismiss the alert manually? When I transfer many pictures to my Mac it really is very boring to dismiss that 20 or 30 times.

Thank you.

Basically and yes this is not an off handed remark

Because Apple Designed it this way.

There are somethings in macOS that Apple believes they know better than the user does.

Then have a few suggestions ;

Hello, and thank you for sharing those questions with me! I did find the first one looking for solutions, but doesn't work for me.

About the first one question, the 'solution' is to turn off Airdrop, but I can't do that, actually I am using it a lot to send files to myself from iOS to macOS. Also I don't want to use a DND mode, I need other notifications. In fact, I really can use the notifications, I just want them to go away on their own, like all other apps.

About the second topic, I have no problems with the sound of the notification, I'm testing apps and I really don't care about the sound they make. In fact I have no problem with the notifications at all as I said, but closing each and every one of them is very annoying, when I'm sharing perhaps 45 image screenshots in a couple hours.

Why Airdrop has its own notification style that can't be changed is beyond me.

Thank you very much. I'll do both and hope for the best! I hoped I could automate something to auto dismiss this notifications but, if for some reason they are like this by design, I guess there is no solution for the time being than ask for it and hope a lot of people will do.

Have a great week PRP_53!
