purchased an Audi back in 2022 and my iPod worked in the car through the USB Great.

Have purchased a new Audi and cannot get my iPod to work in any USB port it comes up 'not supported'

I'm not sure what you're hoping to achieve.

Your new car refuses to talk to your iPod and yet the old car did work with it. That suggests to me that it's the car that is the issue and by definition, the car's manufacturer, not the iPod or Apple.

As for recycling, you can return your iPod to any Apple store and they will recycle it. To the best of my knowledge, cars are broken up and the parts are recycled. That's what car breaker yards do for a living.
