Problem after updating Apple TV

I tried to update my Apple TV and ended up with a blank (light blue) screen. I tried unpowering and rebooting but did not change it. The unit was working before but said I needed to update to install the YouTube TV app.

Check if the status light is glowing continuously, as a sign of working order. A continuously flashing status light (more than ~15 seconds) instead, is a sign that the Apple TV box failed to start up properly.
Check that the TV is still set to take input from the HDMI port to which the Apple TV box is connected.
