Just bought a 2021 ipad, added BT E-mail app but can't find my BT e-mail contacts list or how to add it? Can someone please help?? Getting rid of laptop where e-mail is in Outlook but using BT e-mail address etc.

Go to Settings/Mail/Accounts, tap on the BTInternet account, and turn on the switch for Contacts.
To confirm, if you go into the Settings "app", scroll down to the BT Mail app and open it you should see this all listed? Slide the "Contacts" to open? Hope this helps? MM
Thanks Mikey / Lawrence, but as mentioned the only tick boxes I could find were Mail and Notes, ie not the screen you showed Mikey so I could not turn on Contacts.
Anyway, as per my post it all worked when I added a CardDAV account as per my post.

Try contacting BT support; their email accounts normally support contacts, unless it is not enabled in their webmail interface.
Yes, turn on Contacts.

I’ve got the same problem and was delighted by this suggestion, but…. When I go into the BTInternet account the only tick boxes are Mail and Notes, there is no Contacts tick box :(
