I have received the card verification code but the new iPad I am trying to set up does not allow me to enter it , it’s stuck on the next screen
OK, it’s still frozen. Please do a forced restart. This is more than turning your iPhone off and on.

I have the same issue - my verification code fir my Apple Pay credit card has come through snd now expired but there isn’t anywhere to enter the code so I cannot proceed or exit that page!
It has the options for me to get the code sent to my phone or email , when I click on next to enter the code it’s just frozen
How are you getting it unfrozen?
It won’t unfreeze, I give up!
