Using Google App instead of Safari

Hi, i’m using the Google app but whenever i click links it redirects me to safari.

Is it possible to make google the default search app?

You will need to be using Google Chrome as your browser if you want to have a link open using that browser instead of Safari. Once you download Chrome, then you can go to Settings > Chrome, and choose it as your default browser app. Links will not open the Google app, they will open a web browser of your choosing and that can include Google Chrome.


When using Safari you can also change what Search Engine you want to use when searching the internet and that can include Google Search. The setting for that is at Settings > Safari > Search Engine.


These are two different things.
