why did Apple get rid of official wallpapers out of the box from iPad?

Hi my name is Adam and I have a question about the New IPadOS 17 why did Apple get rid of the official wallpapers out of the box on iPads and I like how Apple is doing that I think that’s good

Apple put them there, Apple can remove them.


It's their choice. Old wallpapers tend to disappear and replaced with new ones with each major release of iOS and macOS.


In macOS, you can save any wallpaper images you want to an external drive. Then you can always add them to the Pictures folder of your account. For the iPad, I've never looked for a way to save the built-in wallpaper images. But I have found old ones online you can download and add to your own Photos library.
