How can I log in directly to my iCloud on this phone

Assuming that you used your Apple ID and Password to set up the phone.....
Tap Settings
Tap Your Name near the top of the screen
Tap iCloud
You can also access iCloud as follows:
Open any browser
Type in www.icloud.com
Enter your log in credentials
