Text to audio from Files on iPhone

As a person working in publishing I sometimes would like to use the text to audio feature for more text than a short selection from a file. In other words, I might want to hear the audio of a whole manuscript book and not just the few pages I can easily "select" from a text file. Is there a way to "select all" text in a text file in Files on an iPhone so I can enable the 'Speak' function for two or three hundred pages?

"Speak Text" is was a feature that was available in older versions of iOS, prior to iOS 14.

However, there is a feature called "Speak Selection" which allows you to have the selected text read out loud by the device. This feature is part of the accessibility options on iPhones and can be enabled in the Settings app under "Accessibility" > "Spoken Content" > "Speak Selection."

"Spoken Content," on the other hand, refers to a different accessibility feature introduced in iOS 14. It provides a more comprehensive text-to-speech experience by reading aloud the entire screen content, including app interfaces, web pages, and messages, without the need to select specific text. This feature can be enabled in the Settings app under "Accessibility" > "Spoken Content."

The pic below is self-explanatory
