Logic Pro X: time ruler question.

On the time ruler, when zooming in, why does the time ruler show 4.480 as the half way point between 4 seconds and 5 seconds (or 20.480 as the half way point between 20 seconds and 21 seconds)? Wouldn't 4.500 be the half way point between 4 seconds and 5 seconds? Or 20.500 between 20 seconds and 21 seconds? (My project is set at 120bpm if that matters.)

The number 480 is most likely midi resolution rather than a time format. Logic's midi resolution works with 960 ppq (pulses per quarter) as far as i know. Your Division Display is set to 1/4, thats's why you see 480 in the middle of a quarter note (2 x 480 = 960). My midi display is usually set to 1/16, that means I see as a maximum 240 (4 x 240 = 960). You can change display settings.
