Close Ocean watch band! The attaching of the two straps of the Ocean band is very difficult. I have tried stretching the band while trying to attach the two straps. I have tried to assist getting loop through the metal closure loop and does not help easily. I may try some talc powder to improve sliding band through for closure. Right now I attach with watched off my hand and then slide band over my hand. Not an easy slide. That may be best answer but arm will need to be very dry before applying the talc. Be messy… any wisdom out there?

No. No Apple bands use Velcro.

The bands use clasps, links or magnets to adjust size or in some cases are single elastic band and you choose an appropriate size.
