Your iPhone includes built-in anti-malware tools and an anti-malware scanner, and end-to-end secure tunnels, and iCloud+ offers the privacy of a Tor-like network connection with Private Relay. Among other features. Built in.

The add-on anti-malware can’t scan your storage and apps, but can scan your network traffic.

Unfortunately for any of these add-on discussions… Too many of the better-known add-on anti-malware packages have been caught doing sketchy and malware-like things. One of the better known add-on packages for Apple platforms was caught and later fined for selling personally-identified web browsing and web purchasing activities, for instance. No-logging VPNs were caught logging, when the “non-existent” logs were found unsecured on the ‘net, too.

Do you need add-on security tools? Outside of cases such as endpoint security or special requirements, no. You don’t.
