My RAW photos get darker when I tried to edit

Hi I was editing the last night in Photomator photos in RAW format from my Fujifilm XA2 so everything was ok, so I got an update notification from MacOs 14.4.1 so I decided to update in that moment. When it restarted I noticed that my pics looks normal in preview but when I tried to edit suddenly the pics turn darker and also the histogram gets suddenly modified (compressed to the darker area). Even if I try to edit in photos app my pics look normal but get dark on editing mode. So the problem is this I usually was able to see what my RAW file looks like before and after enter to editing mode in any app and two my RAW file is being modified automatically when I edit the file and my data get compressed to the dark zone so when I tried to modify the curve my photo get horrible colors I mean, it is so difficult to do the work as I usually used to do. I would be glad if someone could help me, I'm using a MacBook Air m2 and I bought it because I wanted to edit my pics but I'm getting so much troubles right now.

My first reaction would be for you to post this question over on the Pixelmator site, in the forum dedicated to Photometer: Photometer Community.

But upon further thought, it might be worth it to test this with the Apple Photos app and see if the same thing happens there.

It's possible there's a bug in 14.4.1, but I don't recall reading a post here with this issue.

Sorry but I think I wasn't so explicit about it but it's not Photomator, I removed it and I noticed MacOs was the same. My old edits looks good as it was before, but if I click restore to original it gets dark too.

The first pic show how my RAW files looks on the app.

Then you can see the preview and the edit mode, it gets darker.

The first one is a old edit and the second one hadn't been edited but it gets dark and the histogram gets modified, they should be almost the same data.

I don't know if this explains what it is happening.

I've experienced the same thing. Sometime in mid-March (3/20 specifically) all my previously edited RAW photos looked fine in preview but if I export or hit edit, they turn dark. However, all the photos after mid-March that I took and edited look fine between preview and edit. Guess I need to go back and reedit all my earlier photos ...
