error -7005 on HomePod mini setup

I found out through other sources that turning off QOS on Asus routers allows the setup to continue smoothly.

The error turns up after HomePod tries to authenticate Apple ID password. I turned off QOS on my Asus router and bingo the HomePod setup went through without a glitch.

How can I resolve error code -7005 when setting up Homepod mini? Moved home and have factory reset my Homepod mini. Attempting to set it back up but keep running into the same error code (-7005). Homepod 1st gen error 301014 Trying to set up a brand new 1st gen Homepod, I already have a mini working, and the new Homepod gives me an error code 301014 while trying to set up. I have tried leaving wifi, deleting and reinstalling, wiping home clean, reinstall and the mini will set up just fine, however this 1st gen keeps getting error at end of set up 301014.
