I have been using my green dot visa to pay for charges through Apple. I have received cash back on some purchases but not all. How does cash back work? And when is it applied. I thought it was on every purchase. Can you please help me with this?

I understand what you are stating now. Thanks for posting additional information. The thing is that Green Dot will give you cash back based on how a transaction is coded by the Merchant (in this case, it is Apple). Merchant codes the transaction as it sees fit in its financial model and then Green Dot takes that information and determines the type of transaction to make or not to make the award (cash back). There is not much a consumer (You) can do but to question the bank and the merchant. You have already spoken to Green Got and the only other thing left to do is to contact the merchant (Apple) to voice your concern. You may contact Apple here 👉 Official Apple Support

Green Dot VISA is not issued by Apple. The rewards are handled by the issuing bank of Green Dot VISA. Please contact them to get the answers to your rewards related questions.

Thank you for your response. I believe I asked the question wrong. I know green dot is not an Apple Card. My question was I have made several in app purchases though apple in which I received cash back rewards. It’s not showing for every Apple purchase. My card says that is an issue to ask Apple because they decide if the purchase is eligible for cash back. Green dot is not responsible for what qualifies. They say that is on Apples end. If anyone could help me with that Question? Thank you!!!
