How do I take of update required

Whenever I want to download any app it says update required and when I had this phone I didn’t do it so I want to takeoff the update required it is annoying I just wanna download the Phone game so I could play when I don’t have Wi-Fi please tell me I don’t like the update required

If an update is required, you'll need to update your device. Settings > general > software update
