Something is wrong about this App Store Cleaner Kit!

My 100 year aunt plays a lot of Solitaire on her iPhone. She downloaded this Cleaner kit app by mistake and it just took over her phone. I’ve tried to delete the app several times but it keeps coming back. Last night, her phone sent me a message at 4:09 in the morning reading: App Store: Cleaner Kit - Clean Up Storage. If this is supposed to be a legitimate app, can someone please explain to me how her phone is sending me messages all by itself at 4:09 in the morning?
