Logic Pro 10.6.3 vs 10.7.5, should I upgrade?

So. This question was asked by THEBLESSED1 back in March 2023.

So. I am still in Catalina on a 2015 MBP 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 2TB SSD.

And I am happy in my world, although most AU devs are dropping Support for anything less than OS 12. I can't afford to UG to a new Machine with an M3 chip inside right now, but I will have to at some point....

My question is. Are all the Audio developers up to speed with OS14?

I hate having to run some of my Softs Natively and then have to run fully paid softs in Rosetta. So, Anyone, please help me decide. Thanks.

I think Logic Pro 10.7.5 requires Mac OS 12.3. So it depends on if your MBP can update to that operating system. And if you have enough hard disk space to install the new os and added sound files.

Also you do not need the newest M3 mac to run Logic. There's a few youtube channels that say you're just fine going to an M1 mac. It will still blow away the intel models. You can find great deals on Ebay. Or you can go the Apple refurb route. Much lower prices and still a year warranty.
