For the iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 15 is the end of the line. The latest release of iOS 15 is 15.8.2 – released March 5, 2024. It's pretty safe to say that if there is a 15.8.3, it will be focused on bug fixes and/or security updates and won't have anything significant in the way of new features.

If you need battery replacement service, the iPhone 7 Plus still is on the list of models for which Apple will give you an estimate of the cost to replace the battery. (Everything earlier than the iPhone 5 has fallen off the list.)
