I used an AirTag so my daughter could track me when I was overseas. I am home n ow and wantbuse the AirTag to track a piece of my luggage. How do I do this.

Basically, you would attach it to your luggage, To make it less obvious you can place it inside.


The key to understand is that the tag does not know its location. Instead it relies on an iPhone, that is within Bluetooth range of the tag, to relay both the tag's ID and the iPhone's GPS location to the Apple servers over the Internet. This is where you would get the tag's "location" with the Find My app on your iPhone.


So, this will be dependent on having other iPhones nearby to relay the location information, which may mean there will be times where you will not see updates.
