I've looked through the "View Profile" options, and there does not appear to be any way to delete my profile in the Community. Is that right? That doesn't seem to be OK - we should always have a way to delete our profile. Please don't answer 'you need to delete your Apple ID' because I can't do that for multiple reasons. Thanks.

You can set your profile to only show things in it to you, otherwise you cannot delete your contributions here or your profile. It probably mentions that in Apple Support Communities Use Agreement - Apple Community which you probably agreed to when setting up an account. Note that some things such as your points and total thread participation count are still visible. That doesn't freak me out in terms of privacy.
If you put something in a post that has privacy concerns, you can propose to the host that that item be removed. See the email address in the Terms of Use.
