Issue Configuring New Apple ID in Apple Business Manager - Verification Code
I've set up a new user through Apple Business Manager and created a new sign in and emailed that sign in. I then go to appleid.apple.com and log in at that user with the Apple ID and the temporary password in order to change the temporary password. When getting to the step to input a phone number to receive a text or phone call for verification purposes the following error is received no matter what phone number is entered:
Verification codes can't be sent to this phone number at this time. Please try again later.
This has been going on all day. We did not have this problem last week when setting up new users through ABM. We've tried using phone numbers that are on the same wireless plan and numbers on a different wireless plan, and no numbers work. We cannot get past that step when finishing the setup of the Apple ID.
What could be causing this?
