Does the classic IPod 7th generation have a 30 pin connector on the bottom?

... yes, although Apple refer to it as an iPod Classic 6th generation (Late 2009).
The 7th generation iPod Touch (that some people mistakenly refer to an iPod Classic)...
... does not. Instead it has the lightning connector.
