I cant unlock my IPhone

SOMEHOW MY IPHONE locked...It says "swipe up to unlock" but does not react to my touching it or doing so.

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 17

Try a forced restart.

• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
