This phone number cannot be used by iMessage and FaceTime

Updated to iOS 17.4.1 today and iMessage stopped working through my phone number (spinning wheel forever next to my number). Tried to troubleshoot by turning iMessage and FaceTime off, closing all apps and restarting my phone. When I turned it back on, my number disappeared from my phone. It is no longer listed in my cellular section under my eSIM, and is no longer an option for me to select in iMessage, phone or FaceTime. I also can’t save the number when I try to enter it in these sections. I’ve tried network reset, signing in and out of Apple ID, re-adding the number to my Apple ID, and turning my phone on and off multiple times. No luck. Any suggestions?
