How do I turn off "Siri Found in Apps" as it pertains to email recipients?

While typing the To (recipient) field of an email in Apple Mail, I see "Siri Found in Apps" and a list of emails similar to who I'm addressing my email to. I never want to send email to an address "Siri Found in Apps". I need these suggestions to stop appearing here because occasionally Siri will send an email to one of these addresses anyway.

Here is what I tried:

  1. I closed Apple Mail.
  2. I went to Settings --> Siri & Spotlight --> Siri Suggestions & Privacy --> Mail
  3. I then unclicked the "Show Siri Suggestions in application" for Mail.
  4. I restarted Apple Mail.

This did not fix it and the problem persists.

Two questions:

1) How do I turn of "Siri Found in Apps" for email recipients?

2) If the steps I followed didn't turn off "Siri Found in Apps" in Apple Mail then what did it do?! Based on the verbiage it appears to exactly what I need and yet doesn't fix the problem, so I'm extremely curious what turning this off actually does?

I do not use Siri so do not Know what it may do

I do know that sometimes when composing a new email to a Non Listed contact in Contacts application will pick up some obscure email address

What I have done and seems to work .

Check in Mail >> Window

Look in Previous Recipients

Remove the unwanted addresses or person email address
