Apple Music SharePlay kid over 16 - Error joining session

My kid (member of the Apple Family) having problems to connect to Apple Music SharePlay in CarPlay mode during family rides. The error showing on the screen on it's phone is "There was an error joining session"

My wife (also member of the Apple Family) successfully connects.

Pleas give a hint how to overcome the problem, as we want to enjoy music together as family.

Is he able to join without the CarPlay, if so...

Which car is this? Please get the car audio checked by a reputed Car dealer.

The problem is mot with a car. The boy has error message and my wife is connecting. But whole communication goes via my iPhone which than is connected to the car.
