Is there a way to delete your photos from the gallery once you put them in an album WITHOUT deleting the picture from the album??
It would be nice to not have to look through all the photos I have put in albums to find one that is not in an album. !!!!!
I can’t believe Apple hasn’t figured this out and created a way for it to work !!!
If there IS A WAY to do it now, please advise!!!!!

There isn't a way to delete a photo from All Photos without it deleting from everywhere, including from Albums.
There is an option in Photos on Macs to create a Smart Album with the condition "Album - is not - Any" and that smart album will show all photos that are not in any album. That option is currently only available on Mac computers.

Is the system version given below your question correct? Then you are lucky - if I remember correctly you can still simply hide the photos you have added to an album. Then they will no longer be visible in the Library, but you can see them still in the albums. This nice feature has been changed in the more recent versions of iOS and hiding is now a tool to keep the hidden photos secret everywhere.
