Logic Pro, OS & Macbook compatibility

Hi to the community!

I need to buy the following macbook: MacBook Air 13" (2017) - Core i5 1.8 GHz 256 SSD - 8 GB - OS 12 Monterrey.

I also want to buy Logic Pro X, but the minimum configuration shown on the Apple Store indicates a minimum OS 13.5+ with Ventura for Logic Pro X's latest version 10.8.1.

But I know that you can use earlier versions of Logic Pro X on Monterey.

How can I buy it?

Will the Apple Store automatically install the latest compatible version for my future Macbook?
