Messages Freeze

I have the iphone 15 pro max and have had issues with the message app ever since I got the phone. I've been in touch with Apple care a lot and no one seems to know what the issue is and how to fix it. I was assigned to a specific adviser so I didn't have to re-explain my issue every time I called in but he has stopped responding to me. In January I was advised that engineers were working on an update and this should fix my issue. That update came out in February and it did not fix my issue. On a weekly basis I have to erase content and reset my phone as if new. It will be fine for about a day or two, and then start freezing. At first, it only freezes for a second, by the end of the week it can take minutes to start working. If my phone stays awake, there are no issues, but every time my phone goes on standby it starts all over again. This is obviously very frustrating when trying to communicate via text. Someone please help!
