how to skip apple pay set up and get rid of the reminder

since the last update i am getting an alert to finish setting up my phone by using apple

pay. i do not

want to use but want to get rid of the alert

Stop persistent Apple Pay setup prompts in iOS 26 settings I upgraded to iOS 26. I keep getting prompted to set up apple pay in the settings app. I don't want Apple Pay and would like the prompt to go away! I have tried to go to my wallet, but can't seem to find anywhere to press STOP. Please help. (one of the reasons I didn't want to upgrade to iOS 26!

i dont want to setup Apple Pay how can I get rid of the reminder setup message I don’t want to setup Apple Pay. how can I get rid of the reminder setup message? It’s quite annoying to be harassed by Apple to keep setting it up!

After the update, you can tap on the Setting that will take you to the Set Up Apple Pay page and choose "Set up Later" and the alert will go away.

Please follow this path,

iPhone > Settings > Notifications > Wallet app > Allow Notifications > disable
