Focus mode won't stop sharing to messages.

I have Focus Status OFF on all of my Apple devices, and turned Share Across Devices OFF on all of my devices. But no matter what I do, if I turn on Do Not Disturb on my Macbook, it will share my focus status in Messages. I do NOT want this feature and I cannot figure out how to get it to stop because it's fully turned off in the Focus settings on my Macbook! Any advice?

Modify “options” when Setting Focus in Control Center? When I set a Focus (e.g. “Do Not Disturb”) in the Control Center, I can select the options if I want to specify a limited duration for the Focus. The options currently displayed are: For 1 hour Until this evening Is there some way to modify the items on the options list (e.g. to add the item “For 2 Hours”)? (I realize I can go in to Settings to explicitly set the current, specific duration for the Focus, but it would be nice to have an easily-acccessible option in the Control Center.) Thanks

Focus Status Sharing Toggled Off -Still Sharing With Contacts iPhone 14 Pro Max - iOS 17.2.1 When I have my "Share Focus Status" toggled off - contacts are still notified when I have a focus set on my phone. I primarily utilize the 'do not disturb' focus. Here is the set up: Do Not Disturb Share Across Device - ON Focus Status - OFF Allow Notifications: People - (2 selected) Apps - None allowed Notification Options: show on lock screen - off hide notification badges - off silence notifications - always dim lock screen - off I have people constantly able to continue to ping me or see that my focus status is on. I do not want it to be known when I have this on. I've found that going into someone's contact through iMessage there is an option to share focus status. In every one of my contacts it is toggled on. In any iMessage threads that aren't from a saved contact, the share focus status is off. Until I add them as a contact. As soon as I add them as a new contact, the share status automatically switches to on. How do I stop my phone from dictating that new contacts have access to my focus status? How can I switch over my contacts to share the same preferences of my focus status without going through each individually?
