If you have configured Spotlight to search for Documents, then you can use Spotlight to look for documents that are older than (<), newer than (>), or in a range (-) of created or modified dates. You can even find documents with specific case-insensitive font names used in them:
kind:pages created:<04/10/2024
kind:pages modified:>12/01/2023
kind:pages created:>01/01/2024
kind:pages created:04/01/2024-04/10/2024
kind:pages (font:baskerville OR font:garamond)
These queries will work in the search field of a Finder Window, or with the Spotlight 🔍 tool from the menu bar.

Using Finder go to your Documents folder and look there.
If you do not see the documents there, then you may need to recover them from an earlier Time Machine backup.
