Mac Mail removes recipients from CC list on Reply All if that account is configured in my Mac Mail
I own and operate a small business with a small team of people that uses Mac Mail on Macs to run the business. In addition to our own individual email accounts, we have a handful of general purpose email accounts that we all have configured on our Mac Mail use to respond to "Sales", "Accounting" and other inbound requests. When someone emails us from the outside or there is a thread with multiple of those accounts CC'd, if you hit Reply All from Mac Mail it automatically removes any of the CC'd accounts that are configured on the responders Mac Mail. So, as the owner, I am monitoring and responding as necessary to my own plus three other vital email accounts. If I choose to Reply All, I have to manually re-add back in any of the relevant email addresses from the CC list or else they will be dropped. When working quickly it is easy to forget this and I have often inadvertently left someone off the thread which is annoying and embarrassing.
I see that this behavior goes back a long way in the Mac Mail world. I am hoping by now that someone has found or a solution has been created using a secret terminal option setting or something that turns off this very annoying behavior. Anyone know anything?
