Menu app icons dissapear behind camera notch

This seems like an ongoing issue since Apple introduced the camera notch.

The solution in this article killed my Finder (the pointer/ mouse cursor was going all over the place).

How to adjust an app's settings to appear below the camera area on your MacBook Air or MacBook Pro – Apple Support (AU)

how else can I see/ open my hidden apps such as Google drive, One Drive etc?

MBP 14" M1. Sonoma 14.4.1

MacBook Pro 14″

Not sure how using " Select the app, then choose File > Get Info or press Command-I." would have caused the " the pointer/ mouse cursor was going all over the place " ?

But if it did, it did.

Perhaps using a Third Party Application like Bartender may help managed this hidden Icons ( implied ) in the Menu Bar.

If you have too many menu bar items, so that they get under the area where the notch is, you may want to consider a program to manage them. Bartender.app is a long time favorite.

Some people prefer to get the menu bar under the notch, which gives them the full width (at the expense of not using the top area of the screen). There is also an app for that (TopNotch).

As I write this, I look at the menu bar of my Intel 16" MBP, and sure enough I may net to get one of those when I upgrade to a new mac :-)
