coverting to wave files sound horrible

when I convert files to wave form I loose quality. sounds damp, no high end.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 14.4

Missing IRE units on waveform I'm editing a program shot back in 2014 that used NTSC SD (Rec 601). On the waveform, even though the IRE units are selected, they aren't showing up. I'm sure the solution is simple, but I ain't finding it. It's not doing it on RGB parade, luma, chroma... you get the picture. Thanks.

L R Couple Plugins like ChromaVerb and Waves CLA-3A show L R Couple. I don't get what this is and somehow I'm not able to get back to the defaul setting. It's creating a wierd phasing sound when I use them. I've looked for explanations in Logic's and Wave's manuals as well as online but can't find any reference whatsoever? Any one know what is going on and how I can get back to a normal config? Below is a screen shot of my CLA-3a and shot from the Waves manual for comparison. Final Cut Pro - Importing audio - on waveform When I move music or sound effects to a timeline, it only shows a bar, not a wave form. Is there a setting I'm missing?
