How to fix error code 255 on MacBook M2 Chip

how do I fix error code 255 on a m2 chip Mac when I try to load a modded Minecraft it was working perfectly fine and then decides to stop working out of nowhere with 0 updates this is using curse forge to download the mod

Recording to different forums, the source of this problem is, that apple hasn't provided certain APIs which are necessary to start and run some versions of Curse Forge on any kind of Apple Silicon.


So at the moment there is absolutely nothing we can do about it except of waiting for apple to finally release the needed APIs.

But I don't think that this will ever happen.. I am waiting since late 2020 that anything happens.

On my "old" intel iMac, everything runs perfectly fine.. neither my M1 MacBook nor the M3 Max one is "capable" of running modded Minecraft.
