Ok, we get it, the App Library is here to stay…

But is there anyway to keep just the searchable list of applications and do away with the automatic categories?

Categories only make sense when we can edit the names and apps associated with them, which at this time we cannot. if users want categories they can create their own folders on the home screen.

The App Library can still be useful to those that want an uncluttered home screen by utilizing the searchable database of their downloaded apps. Users that have their own specific categories can still hide apps that they do not use often from the home screen but still access them from the searchable database.

Sounds like a good compromise between those that like the App Library and those that don’t?
