Logic pro Event list

I have a function not working in Logic Pro. I suspect that this function is not available at all. Although the manual says it is possible. I want to copy text information to the Event List from a external text editor. The official manual says it's possible: Add one or more events from the Clipboard 1. In Logic Pro, copy an event from another editor, then choose Edit > Paste (or press Command-V). 2. Enter a destination position for the first event in the input box that appears. Perhaps the problem is in the formatting of the string to be copied. I have tried every possible option and none of them work.
