Why is my Mac mini using the same image for both users with different iCloud addresses after the recent Sonoma Update? Both Users have admin rights?
How can I fix this issue and ensure each user has their own unique image?
Current Version: macOS Sonoma Version 14.4.1 (23E224)

Change User settings on Mac
Click the picture that appears next to your user name or another user’s name in the login window on your Mac.
You can choose a photo from your photo library, take a new photo using the camera on your Mac, choose a Memoji or emoji, use initials in a monogram, and more.
When you choose a picture or other image for your user login picture, the selected image is also displayed for your Apple ID picture and for your My Card in Contacts. See Change a user’s login picture.
Log Out of Both accounts
Log into One of the Accounts
Pit computer into Lock Screen
Give us a Screen Shot of what is appearing
Perhaps we can better understand what is being presented
On the Off Chance, have a look at Lock Screen
Make sure " When Switching Users " >> List of Users is enabled
Not 100% sure but time to check in the Contacts application in each of the two separate Admin Accounts
What Image is appearing there ?
Yes two accounts one mine one my husband …. In the settings on his ( when he’s logged in) the images changes to me. I change it and sign out and for a few hours it will stay, next day it’s back to the same image.

iCloud is not AppleID, but related.
“two accounts” can be many things.
If you are signed into the same AppleID, the picture will be the same.
If you are signed into different AppleID accounts, I don’t know why they are being changed to the same image.
When we click on our names the right picture is there. It’s just on the logon screen that each user has the same image.

Doe you mean they are signed into different AppleID accounts?
If you have one account, does your husband have a separate Apple ID Account with Apple ?
