Search Engine Monopoly
I want to change my search engine to Perplexity but my iPad and iPhone doesn’t allow me to add Perplexity as my default search engine.
Is there anyway I can add Perplexity as my default browser.

Your Web Browser App and your Search Engine are two entirely different (but related) things. You can ask your chosen AI-tool to explain the difference 🙂
In addition to the native Safari Browser App included with iOS/iPadOS, you can install additional third-party Browser Apps (such as Firefox, Chrome, Brave etc.) from the App Store. With additional Browser Apps installed, where supported by the installed Browser App, it is then possible to set your default Browser App from iPad settings:

As for Perplexity, this appears to be a AI-driven search tool - accessible using any installed Web Browser - or using an installable App on your iPad - both funded by way of an expensive subscription...
